  • Nocturnist coverage and cross-cover load
  • Procedures expected of you
  • How the schedule is built and who owns swaps
  • Pay model: shift rate, wRVU, or salary — and what's realistic in year one

  • Mar–May: credentialing (60–120 days — start the day you sign)
  • Jul: first shift

Credentialing is the step that makes people miss their start date. Sign by March.

Residents join with a program email — no NPI needed. Ask your chief or program coordinator to share this page with your class.
